Digital Badges
Display your IIESMS membership grade and professional standing on LinkedIn, email signatures, and digital profiles.

What are IIESMS digital badges?
Digital badges are verified visual credentials that confirm your IIESMS membership grade and professional standing. Each badge is issued by the Institute and linked to your membership record.
Use your badge on LinkedIn, in your email signature, on your CV, and on your company website. It provides instant visual proof of your professional recognition.
Badge Types
Badges for individual members and corporate accounts.
Core Grade Badges
Student, Associate (A.IIESMS), Technician (T.IIESMS), Graduate (G.IIESMS), Member (M.IIESMS), and Fellow (F.IIESMS). Each badge displays your grade and post-nominal.
Certified Grade Badges
Eight discipline-specific badges for certified grades in fire safety, industrial engineering, facilities management, and safety and health.
Corporate Account Badge
Organisations with IIESMS corporate account membership receive a corporate badge for company websites, tender documents, and marketing materials.
What your badge includes
Each IIESMS digital badge displays your full name, membership grade, post-nominal designation, the IIESMS crest, and a unique verification number. This combination ensures that your badge is both recognisable and independently verifiable.
Badges are issued in both PNG and SVG format, suitable for websites, email signatures, social media profiles, and printed documents. LinkedIn-optimised versions are provided specifically for profile badges, ensuring they display correctly at all screen sizes.
Your badge is updated annually upon membership renewal and CPD compliance. This means your badge always reflects your current standing with the Institute. If your grade changes following a professional review, your badge is reissued to reflect the new designation.
Corporate account badges display the company name and IIESMS corporate membership status, allowing organisations to demonstrate their commitment to professional standards across their workforce.
Sample badge designs will be available shortly. In the meantime, approved members will receive their digital badge pack by email within five working days of membership confirmation.
How to use your badge
LinkedIn - Add your IIESMS badge to your profile under Licenses and Certifications. Use your post-nominal (e.g. F.IIESMS) in your headline.
Email signature - Include your badge image and post-nominal in your signature block. Your employer may also display the corporate badge.
CV and tender documents - Include your badge alongside your qualifications. For regulated roles in Ireland, IIESMS recognition demonstrates professional standing aligned to the NFQ.
